BIOGRAPHY FOR LIZA VISAGIE
"Painting is a visual experience concerned with clarifying thought and to awaken in us the simplicity and unity of an impression."

Liza's area of focus is landscape painting. Her plein-air oil sketches are further developed in the studio. The observational skills needed when working outdoors and the more scrutinizing practice of studio work, leeds to the synthesis of the known facts found in reality to the hidden. The shapes, tones and colours found in nature is the language she uses throughout her work.
